Montana fly fishing trip

I haven't been back to Montana in 7 years, so I was overdue for a trip to fly fish some more fabled waters.  This time it was the Bighorn and Gallatin rivers with 3 full days floating the Bighorn.  Fishing was epic with black caddis hatching heavily all three days on that river and the fish eating dry flies into the dark hours.  I was out with a buddy and his 3 grown sons who live in the Bozeman, MT area.  We ate well, drank well and caught tons of trout while enjoying the scenery that Montana has to afford.

Enjoying a breakfast beer while taking in the views as breakfast was being cooked.  That's the Bighorn River in the valley which flows through the Crow Indian reservation in this high dessert plateau region of eastern Montana.
