Bonus striped bass tag

I applied for the bonus tag for striped bass two weeks ago. The season started 0n the 15th. How long does it take before you get your tag. I tried to get on the Div website but it's down.

I also applied 2 weeks ago when they started accepting applications. I heard that it is going to take several weeks to get the bonus tag.

I'm sure they were bombarded with applications.  Thousands of them.  

Gotta remember. Last year every person could keep 2 bass. This year it's only one. Any party boat, charter boat, every boat that didn't apply for tags last year is definitely doing it this year.

I just applied for my wife.  She does fish when I'm not being a vampire (fishing at night). Lol. 

When I applied last week I did not get a reply email. With hers Just now I got a reply email saying it would take 2-4 weeks.

yeah it said there is high volume and will be 2-4 weeks
