Out in 14 . Wind is just picking up . Birds were non stop again this morning but went silent as soon as they hit the ground .

Good luck all!  Tom and 2 hens were back in my yard this morning. Gobbling.  Wonder if it's the same group as last year.  They came for the bird feeder and blueberries for the last 3 years.

50% sure I have at least 2 gobblers hung up on a farm 200 yards away. 
 

I’m calling every 20-30 minutes.  They are responding to my calls, but won’t move any closer.

Lawn mowers and chainsaws just started going off around me. 😒

Had a Tom get just under  100 yards and something spooked him . Was nice to take the safety off the shotgun finally , at least .

Also was up in Z2, had a guy beat me to my spot. Talked to him we went opposite ways, I think he ended up tagging a bird heard a shot in his direction.

Found gobbling turkeys and was on them for 3 hours. At least 1 Tom and 3 jakes that I laid eyes on but couldn't break them from the flock 60 yards closest I got. Tried to move in front of the way they were headed and lost them...exciting morning at least. Love those woods up there. How'd you make out??
