Fun day at work today. Caught and released this fella. Gave the slip yesterday, not today.

Rat snakes are very docile.  You could pick it up and it would just flick its tongue at you.

Rodents are their staple.  They are great snakes to have around.

Rat snakes are very docile.  You could pick it up and it would just flick its tongue at you.  

Pick it up with my hand??? No... I've told you before. A quick shovel to its head will do the job.

Blows me away that grown men are scared of snakes that weigh 3lbs max. If your scared, push it off with your boot and get on your way.
