Trout fishing is slowing down due to a lot of pressure along the beaten paths, so after work yesterday my son and I decided to hike into a nice stretch of river  I found while kayaking last summer. We had the river to ourselves with not much time to fish and picked up 15 rainbows, I will head back there again when I have more time

Those shrooms are much tastier than the trout.  Nice find.

Maybe but I only catch and release trout and don't eat any mushrooms

oh man you are missing out on one of the best meals you could have, battered and fried morel mushrooms....  nothing better in my opinion, I would trade a t-bone for a plate !

Nice. I've yet to find a morel in my life.

I never have till yesterday, never tried either. They are hard to see, harder than a shed antler on the ground.

I look every time I'm out trout fishing or turkey hunting. I guess I'm not looking in the right spots. If I find one, I'll dry it and hang it on the wall next to my mounts since it would have been harder to get the morel than my trophies. LOL
