my pal found a hen sitting on a nest on May 1st at assunpink while foraging for mushrooms.....he discovered this past weekend that a predator ate the eggs n killed the hen. 

Can't upload video of raided nest...but here are some grainy pics of evidence!

Ive seen our turkey populations drop to all time lows in parts of morris/ passaic/ sussex counties where i hunt over the years.  Beside the cold wet springs which make it nearly impossible for poults to survive, i see ridiculous amounts of coyote, fox, bobcat, raccoons, owls, and hawks.  I don't know how any survive yearly
