My cousin took this photograph of a rare blond female eagle with her mate. Pretty cool!

If they are a couple the blond male is on the left and the female on the right. Female bald eagles are a bout a 3rd larger and 15lb heavier than males

I think color variation is an oddity, I bet some kind of genetic issue.
