Online is facing backorders right now because gyms are closed.  Seeing that across the industry.   I'm about to place an order for a new bar and a new rack...it's no rush, so I don't mind the wait.

Looks like rouge is out of stock again Titian t3 series is backorder

the price gouging on used equipment is ridiculous

I'm going to grab a Rogue R3.  My buddy is a Starting Strength coach and he and many others swear this is the best bang for the buck out there.

45s, 35s, 25s, 10s,  looking for pairs steel plates 2” centers. Ideally I’d like 4x of each but not at $2 a lb. I can wait until the country opens back up and everyone is selling all the stuff they overbought to make money on. Before the shutdown you could buy a 300lb set new for  $250 or used for less now they are going for $500 or more.

rouge is a better brand lifetime warranty to I believe

Damn. I hadn't looked at plates, but just did a little bit and you're right.  Looks like $2/lb or more for used iron.  That's crap.

It seems like every place I can think of is backordered right now.  You can still order, it will just be a month or so until you get your order

I used to pore over every ad in the treasure hunter just to buy old ‘iron’ plates.  I got some good deals.  Hey it is worth a look...

After reading this I went on Amazon and was curious how much a pair of Bowflex SelectTech 552 was selling for. Someone actually had them listed for $1100 + $178 for shipping. There's one thing that's painfully obvious... there's alot of crooked bastards in the world.

If your looking for used plates I've seen scrap yards usually put them on the side. At least I've seen them at Beacon Metal.  I built a squat rack for my son in the basement. Nothing special but does the job. Wood frame with steel pipe nipple with a large washer welded to one end. The other end gets a washer and cap screwed on to hold  the weight. He's working 335 and its holding fine. I have old solid lifting  bars going across both sides for the safeties. The top has some screws tied into the house. Its very solid.

unfortunately im working with a height restriction, so the 90" platforms wont fit. im at the point i will pay for new equipment, but nothing is in stock anyway.  I also reached out to a few people on craigs list selling stuff for 3X the price and used, that was my own fault.

might go grab some 4X4's and just make something ugly for the time being.

The Rogue R3 is 90" and they offer a "shorty" version at 84"

These are really nice too and they're also 84"
