Good Looking Out Mossberg

I have one of the first year 835's, at the time it only came with a white front bead sight. A few years ago I put on a front and rear fiber optic sight that I attempted to buy from Mossberg but they sent it. Last year sighting in the gun with Longbeard XR with the Longbeard XR Choke, the rear adjustment screw went bye bye, and I totally forgot to replace it. So I don't know what size screw it is, so I called Mossberg for the size, the CS rep was very nice, he took my name, and address down and said he will send out a new rear sight as they just don't have the size, told him I just need the screw size, he said something that he doesn't know, nor does it show up on his computer. Good Looking Out Mossberg !!

What was that first year? My 835 has the white bead, l bought it new about 15 years ago

Mine came with the white bead as well, I purchased it just around the time I got hired as a officer so 23  or 24 years ago

Frank, just called Mossberg gave the serial number it was made in 1997, so 23 years ago.....zero issues

The rear sight came in today's mail...Mossberg's CS is great !!!
