Lots of changes in his heads from the origional pinned head through to the stainless series .

I have a bunch of all of them except the pinned heads he originally started his design with .

Nice! I have the Blue and green, never saw the red.If you can find a pinned one its worth a small fortune! He only made 300 and gave them to his friends to try out.

I have some dark green Razorheads, don't know anything about them.

The dark green heads were the super razor heads, made just from 78-81 .

while article’s say they were not as popular , it’s those heads that are still most used today..

Bear made those heads when guys said they wanted a blunted point that cracked bone instead of having tip roll back .

at that time He made a video showing how he sharpened his heads.

he actually rolled the tip off making the head very rounded in front instead of chiseling them

Nomad I would expect you have all of those.

I remember you posting quite a few drawers of bear heads .

I have all the old heads.

actually have some of the  59 heads in my quiver for the long bow.

I think be cool to shoot deer with the old stuff

I use the Bear broadheads when I use wood arrows and my long bow. If I shoot carbon arrows with screw in tips I use Muzzy 125s. Might try one of the others that I have a lot of this year also. Thinking about maybe the Hilbres.  I’ll see how they shoot, they look like they would fly nice on my wood arrows, but I’ll check them out.

bear heads were out over 50 years before magnus heads .

the stainless versions of bear heads  pictured were made in the early 80’s still well before magnus
