Shakedown Cruise Clamming Trip

Took my buddy Bob out to run the boat today after a winter nap. We uncovered her yesterday , power washed off the sleepy seeds, put in fresh gas and oil fired her right up. Today we launched and opened up my girl. She purred like a kitten, on 6 gallons of aviation fuel to wake her up. No sense not coming home with dinner so we took the clam rakes. We bent over the rakes for about an hour and a half and came home with 288 clams. We left them biting, and could of got plenty more. Being American Sportsman we decided not to be greedy. Great first day on the water!
