Bear Baiting

It is already illegal to intentionally feed bears, I guess that would include baiting, but then again the CO's are being told to turn a blind eye to that but rather get the little old lady who puts food out to watch the bears in her back yard.

It’s illegal to feed a ton of wildlife. It’s not turning a blind eye. It’s fish and game making exceptions to the laws for game management purposes.

The pic below shows what the law on feeding bears says and what they define as feeding.  It's baiting but  for some reason there is a bill in legislation to ban baiting bears and a few bills to ban bear hunting.

Too bad about all those Yellow-No Bear Hunting Signs that are commonplace now on the Public Lands.
