When I was a kid you would ride at pretty much any sand pit or quarry and for the most part no one said nothing.  When people found out they could sue the land owner and win is when it went south and they started cracking down. I remember going to one place we would camp ride and fish for the weekend and police just made sure no one was driving drunk.  The hood ol days before she happy morons

I sold my atv and bought an e bike for access to more land. I think i made a good choice since legal and causes no damage when ridden in the woods.

i talked to a co once and reported dirt bikes riding on state land when the state land clearly stated no motorized vehicles. he said there nothing i can do about it... yet he wanted to be sure everything i had on me was legal for fishing. including 10 min search of my fishing pack..... after he found nothing, i walked back to my truck like  i could of gave him trail cam photos, and exact times of each day they went riding. they went every day same time. he didnt seem to care at all.
