I got hit with the leather belt...a lot!  also worked since i was 14.  What a soft society we live in these days, sad.  I made it!

Yep me too and I also got the belt from my dad.

When I became a parent for the first time 25 years ago, I told myself that if any of my kids did the same things that I did when I was their age then, I would not discipline them for it. They did about half of the stuff that I did that I know of.

As I recall even the downhill parts were uphill.
