Heading out for AM pheasant hunt and depending on the weather I will try a PM deer hunt

Heading in for first time since early December and first time with gun/muzzy in about 5 years. Wearing my grandpa’s old red woolrich hunting jacket that’s probably at least twice my age for some good luck and some old pac boots I got from a old timer neighbor. Switching it up and making fun. Hopefully it starts snowing soon!

Had every intention of going this am but poker night last night with the guys went past 1:00 am....good luck to those out. The calm before the storm always seems to produce well.

Doe and fawn came up hill 50yds to my right and walked the ridge the other way. Seen something at least. Staying at least another hour here then moving the camera farther back to where the bucks sign is coming up the hill , and do a little work on a blind there before it snows. Will have to suck it up dragging one out of there.
