Turnips for late season food

Recommended Posts

Deer are hammering the turnips and radishes this year.

Planted the 1st week in August, the deer have been eating them for several months now.

1st the huge tops go, now they are hitting the bulbs. Amazing the amount of forage they produce. With strips of rye and wheat and clover, deer are in them every evening.

All planted no till with the exception of the clover.
