Hunting this weekend in warm weather.

Hi Guys,  I'm new to this forum and bow hunting in general.  My question is do you think this week warm weather will effect deer movement?

Only the deer know and the only way to find out is hunt.

Go when you can.  Deer are there all the time, and no telling when they will move from where to where.  Think they are calling for rain, too.  I'd rather see snow to get a better idea of where they are.

I'll be hunting because a) I haven't been able to get out a lot this season, and b) I need at least one more deer for the freezer.

The deer will move probably more than a cold day this time of year. When cold this time of year they stay close to food so they can conserve energy. A couple warm days when it is supposed to be freezing usually means more movement in my experience.  But food sources this time of year are usually gold no matter warm or cold.

Deer will still get up to feed several times each day but overall movement is typically low with those kind of temperatures.  Saturday's wind won't help either.  BUT, there's always a chance that you will catch one on its feet.  I'd rather sit in the woods and not see a deer than not sit in the woods.  Give it a shot and let us know how you make out.

Warmer weather will most likely have them moving closer to dark, yesterday they were moving heavy on my way home from work I saw around 70 including 8 bucks

I am more concerned about full moon then warmer temps .but i hunt when i can

Some of the best deer movement I have seen over 40 years of hunting is when you get a warm period after a prolonged cold period. But we have not seen a long cold period yet. As posted already, you won't know unless you're out there.
