With all the planets inline and weather coming in I expected posts of deer killed from all corners of the state. Did you MZ guys forget to piss, moan, whine and bitch while out there or did the 6day pressure play a role?

I saw probably 35 deer . Two of which were bucks . One was a small fork horn that stayed infront of my blind for 45 minutes harassing two little yearling does . The rest decided to go down the opposite side of the hedge row and never present a clean shot .

I thought today would have been productive but only saw a group of does on my way back to car at noon.  Starting to think they’re on to us and going out more after hours - LOL

I had bucks come in at 4:00pm. A 5 point that I had seen on Saturday and a really wide 8 point. They hung with me for about 45 mins before leaving. That was it.

I relied on Rusty being wrong and didn't go out.  My prediction is the deer will move the day after winter bow ends.

Well, I’m not one to put much in all the “moon hypothesizes,” especially Rustys! (😜)

However, climbed into my stand at 1:00, looked to my north and saw a group of does already out of their bedding area. A few minutes later saw a very big 6 point and a spike chasing/harassing the doe group.   
unfortunately they never got closer than 150 yards, and there was no opportunity for a shot. 
I never saw a thing after they moved off. 

So, does that constitute “deer on their feet” as Rusty suggested? I think it may actually, even though i didn’t see them again, they were on their feet! 
So for now,  I have to say, and this ain’t easy, Rusty was right!🥴
