It’s in the conservation center and Brightwood Park.  It is being ran by the county

I think that you have to be a member of NJ Bowhunters and law enforcement.

If you go to the Union County Deer hunt page...? Couldn't do it from my phone. The requirements are there. Pretty straight forward to sign up. It has been going on at Nomahegan for years. Both gun and bow.

Not really.

The county website has been listing the hunt since August and every  person that has ever applied on the website received an e-mail announcing the hunt and application timelines. The press releases and Facebook coverage also highlighted the existing and new park openings for 19/20 season.

Lots of coverage and info for those that wanted to take advantage of a great opportunity to help in deer management...

And they bait for you and set up stands??!!  All you do is show up and kill critters??!!  I’m in but it sounds too good to be true or perhaps it’s next to impossible to get chosen?!
