I just checked Amazon to see what they are selling for there and it's mixed. Some are completely sold out and states "no longer available". I think they are being disc and pushed out.

Lots of bogus stuff on FB. They were selling box blinds not too long ago for $39.  

Maybe you should have tested the waters with one?

I received mine today but I need to return them because they are to small!  I knew I should’ve ordered one size up for a heavier sock. Not sure how this is going to work out now

I don't wear heavy socks in mine .

Found them to be plenty warm without a bulky sock
