Friend lives 3 miles from where I hunt, he told me last night it was bad in Montague,  advise me not to drive up....I wasn't listening,  I hit snooze and slept in. I'm in Flemington wife's doctor's office,  not one deer in all the fields I drove past

Woke up at 4:15a.m looked out the window from my bed,  saw the trees swaying in the wind and rolled over and fell back to sleep.

This afternoon for sure.....well, maybe.

I’m in Z5. Wind isn’t bad at all. Supposed to pick up around 11 though. Haven’t seen any deer yet. By 10 if I still haven’t seen anything I’m going for a walk.

So far nothing is moving....deer, squirrels, birds. Will sit another hour if the action doesn't pick up.

Just got back from my chiropractor and I had a pulled groin muscle. I thought that I had a hernia because, it felt so painful. I plan on hunting this afternoon at my friend's farm in Zone 8. If I shoot a deer, he has a tractor to drag it out. I have to take it easy for awhile. Not getting any younger.

Will finally head out around 1:30.  Cut my way out to street.  Too slippery for saw work on the roof.  Wind blowing good now in Green.  Hope next two hours it clears the trees.

Yea there was very little wind in zone 8 this morning but no deer movement. Just came out for a quick bite and it looks like the wind is picking up I'll be back in by 2pm
