MPSR Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 So be having good success the last few weeks up until the colder weather hit.. After birds hunting today I threw everything but the kitchen sink at them.. Nothing, only a few chases on the trout magnets.. Any suggestions.. ? Same thing last year they hit then shut down.. And O their are a LOT of fish still in the pools..
Bucndoe Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 My suggestion is to go deer hunting toxo, MPSR and Greybeard 1 1 1 There is nothing more intolerant than a liberal preaching tolerance God gives the toughest battles to his strongest soldiers "Leadership is a potent combination of strategy and character. Bucksnbows Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 About the only natural food for trout this time of year are midges, so think tiny flies. But they are stupid stocked trout, so anything flashy will catch them if drifted in front of their faces. Trout are cold blooded, and their metabolism slows as water temps drop, so they just aren't as hungry this time of the year. You have to bump noses now. toxo 1 https://www.troutscapes.com/ https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board
Greybeard Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 It's going to warm up this week. When it's too warm for the deer to move, fish. When it's too cold for the fish to bite, hunt. MPSR 1

I ordered a bunch of midges from Orvis on Friday. Thanks! Bucksnbows 1
