Hunting 10 till 2

Have 2 weeks vacation starting November 4th always read about how productive hunting between 10 and 2 can be was thinking of mixing things up and sitting when others are not what are your thoughts on this

Yup.  The bucks are on their feet all day looking for a date to the prom.  

If you can,  sit dawn to dusk this week.

Ive killed almost every “rut” buck of mine between 10-2.  Lone bucks will always take a walk checking for hot does midday.  I think its the most productive time of the day in the rut.

Great time to hunt but I either go all day or like 8-3

Sat all day yesterday had mature buck come through at 730 another nice buck spotted at 1130, does at 4 and right before dark a bunch more does and a crazy wacky doe running laps and doing spins came under me sniffed my bungee and didn’t care at all!  No buck in tow she must’ve been hot, never seen a deer act that way

Most of my big bucks taken late am during rut

We just had a racked buck zigzagging down the middle of the street looking for a girlfriend.  They are definitely moving at all times of the day.

Have the time do the all day sit. It's tough but can be good. If not trail camera helps a lot for knowing if there has been any mid day action.
