Unless you are specifically looking for used, leupold has some great prices on their "entry level" line .. VX Freedom line 3x9x40mm for $199 and 3x9x50mm for $249 

They seem like good scopes, I just put one on a muzzle loader so cant speak of the long term quality yet.
