Ron Jones will be speaking about Turkeys and how to call them on Sat. April 12, at the Tuckerton Seaport in the Hunting Shanty. The time is from 4 pm to 6 pm maybe longer.

If you never heard Ron speak it's an adventure in itself, the man's knowledge is awesome. Please respond if your coming or not, we need to know how many chairs to provide.

back to the top. Wow everyone must know how to call Turkeys. I attend every seminar thats free just to open up my memory. Sometimes I forget stuff I know and need to get my brain a kick start. Ron does that.

Just too far for me. Almost 3 hours South according to online directions.

 

Otherwise I'd go listen to Ron...

 

He was one of my trapping instructors...it was fun to listen to him. He and I are pretty much on the same page when it comes to learning about animal behavior/vocalizations. I honestly think we're both a little crazy, but in a good way. lol If you constantly think like an animal, study them, aren't afraid to test things out and realize there's always something to learn, you will usually do well at hunting, fishing, trapping. That's what I liked about what Ron tried to get across. I'm sure his turkey seminar is outstanding!
