Deep water Tog magnets

Took few hours to cast and hammer out some of my Deep Water Tog magnets tonight. 

But should be enough for Tracey and I to make it through till January.

Have you fished them with a loop knot it looks like it makes sense

No . I altered a mold  to be able to use a 4/0 or 5/0 hook.

Removed the collar.

then I actually hammer each one on my anvil to change the base .

most manufactured jigs are getting stupid in price 5/6 bucks for a plain jig that’s 2 Oz or under is silly.

and they are trying to convince guys it’s because they are using a 4x strong tuna hook .

a heavy wire hook will outfish those heavy hooks day in day out .

These jigs don’t want to roll over due to how I’m setting the base .

they actually snap tp upright them selves with a feeling like a magnet pulling to steel .

Very nice. I was just looking at molds yesterday on Barlows site. Couldn't seem to figure out which one to buy.

I am in RI starting on Sunday - Weds cant wait but Weds looks iffy.

Dan I would also be happy to tell you how they work on RI Tog !!
