NJBaymen
I recently acquired a Sneakbox from a friend. I live close to the Barnegat bay and the boat needs some work/TLC. I’m not sure who made it or what year it is...no title or registration It appears to be all wood...chipped paint and some cracks...10ft long and about 4ft wide...smells of cedar... I was planning on sanding it down and reinforcing any defective wood areas... I’m really not sure where to begin...or what materials I’ll need or to glass it over... Any suggestions? antvento182
Did you find out anything on this? Thinking about buying one from my buddy but doesn’t have reg or title and just want to see what the steps are to register it
RCR
Had to do this once a long time ago. I believe I needed a notarized bill of sale for Motor vehicles to issue a registration and a marine police inspection for issuance of Hull Identification Number. Hopefully someone else here has gone through the process more recently and can comment. You might want to start your own topic. Good luck! antvento182
TheGreek
It’s most likely cedar… sand it down fix anything that’s rotted. Fiberglass over it and paint Its all Greek to me
Cousin Brown
Looks like and is most likely a Carl Adams sneakbox. From 1950's or 60's. Edited November 3, 2023 by Cousin Brown Treestands don't demand, treestands don't complain, treestands simply ask me to sit down and listen.
