Need an eye doctor

Recommended Posts

that isn't tied up for three months to an appointment. My cataracts are to the point of having to turn off the lights because I can't see anyway. My ophthalmologist has me down fir after Christmas after telling I have to have them removed right away. Never did like his bedside manner and f'ed sense of humor  Any help would be appreciated.

Out of all places my mom goes to a specialist in Perth Amboy. My mom has macular degeneration and gets eye injections. I go with here all the time and this guy is good. I also know he does eye surgery since we discussed my mom’s possible surgery for cataracts.

This is the place and doctor’s name is Ken Darvin

I'm up in Cranford and in the business. We have Joe Calderone or Joel Confino.  Both are good.  Used to be Dr Phillips in Flemington. I don't know much about him anymore because I haven't worked there for years. We have a few in Old Bridge too but  I think all these guys are to far for you.

I feel your pain. My rheumatologist retired without telling me and left me hanging. I had to find another one and had to wait 6 months before seeing her. My joints were freaking killing me while I was waiting. I had run out of medication early.

Joel Eichler MD in Mt Arlington fixed a detached retina I had a few years ago.  Wouldn’t trust anyone else.

I just had my eyes done within the past month.  I'm in South Jersey, so my guy would be no good for you.  I do want you to know about the newer lenses that are out there.  Make sure your doc has experience with them.  Fixes vision both near and far!!!!!

Problem is retina ppl don't want to do cataract work.

I had found that to be true in my research. A lot of them are specialized in certain procedures and don't deal with one or another. That and a lot of them don't take new patients from what I have experienced

Thanks for all of your replies. I'll check them out and see what I come up with.
