FYI If anyone is looking for a new O/U, Cabelas is currently having a sale on the Beretta Silver Pigeon I.  Sale price is $1,750. I have one in 20 gauge. Very nice gun. If you go to Delaware store with no sales tax and you have some gift cards you can really do well. These guns usually sell for around $2000.

Yep, the SP1 is on sale at a lot of places.  They just came out with a new versions which, as far as i can tell, is the same except the engraving is different.  Ramsey Outdoors had a pretty good price on them a few weeks ago, may still.

The other change to the new version of the SPI is the barrels. They have a different type of steel, longer forcing cones and the choke tubes are the Optima type rather than the Mobile type. The rest of the gun's mechanics remain the same as far as I know.
