Feeders - What time and how much feed?

For those of you using feeders, what time do you have them set to go off and how much are you putting out this early in the season?

When I used them I would set one at 8 am n one at 330 or 4 for 3 seconds.  It took them a while to get used to it.

I have mine set for 7 am and 6 pm right now for 4 secs.  Figured if they patterned at those times I would be in tree and set up already during early season.  will adjust accordingly as daylight changes

I set mine for 3 sec at 7:30 and 4 sec at 6pm

I don't feed anymore but when I did I would set the feeding time 1/2 hr after sunrise and 1.5hrs before sunset. I fed very little to make sure nothing was left for the night. It wasn't a place for deer to fill their belly but to come in for a lick of icecream

This is the first year I’m not using an automatic feeder.  But in years past I would set the feeder to go off 10-15 after sun up. I would only set the timer for 2-3 seconds. The thought was to only keep them interested in the area when I wanted them there.

Mine put out 4 lb. an hour before dark.

Mine goes off 530 8 330pm 630pm the 530 moves them off so I can sneak in I think they are set for 5 sec I go through about 50 lb a week.
