I just bought an AT Pro at the end of last year and I'm really looking forward to using it once the snow is gone. I have a couple properties lined up,one property has two foundations on it that dates back to the 1700s. Anyone else here into this hobby?  Does anyone have any land they would be willing to let me search? Maybe a place for us to hunt together if there are other enthusiasts on here.

I go with a friend of mine down in Va Beach Va sometimes when i visit.. It's an interesting hobby.. Never know what you might find... I just get frustrated with all the buried bottle caps and can tabs on the beach though.. well, actually i get a little more than frustrated.. :banghead:  :banghead:

It's all part of it,you'll dig more trash than treasure,I hope you take the trash out with you. What kind of machine do you have?

Yeah i know its all part of it..  And digging a 2 feet deep hole in the sand in of its self doent seem like it would be a big deal.. But doing that 100 or so times a night gets too you...

I dont have my own machine. I just use one of his.. Not into it like he is..

I have one that my brother left me but only used it a couple times only to find a few nails , bolt , bunch of caps n a arrow I lost in the weeds. It's a Radio Shack Discovery 3. It's probly round 15 yrs old. It's supposed to tell what the probable find is weather coin gold ect. .

You add camo to anything, it immediately becomes cool.

Well, that aint hard to do.. All it needs to predict is a bottle cap and it will be right 99% of the time... :banghead:  :banghead:

I don't but it does look pretty interesting and fun

I remember houndawgg (sp?) from years ago, his real name is Gary, was a big metal detecting guy.  Used to find all kinds of stuff!

This story should get you pumped to be out there!

I saw that, something seems a little fishy about the story. My question is,why the hell would they go public about it?

I've been watching it too,but it seems there hasn't been anything new on Demand. The last one I saw was the one that they found the spanish coin.

I think it pretty much ended after that episode and they are holding off for season 2?

Well they are selling the coins, so it wasn't going to stay private.  They sound like a financially strained couple, in risk of losing that exact property it was found on...so they probably started asking around about how they could sell it and the snowball of publicity just ran from there.
