Trigger mod - Apachee trigger - on Savage MKII 22LR

Finally plucked up the courage to tinker with my 22LR over the weekend by installing the Apachee Trigger kit that I had mail ordered.

Having never done this before it was a ‘learning experience’ with plenty of frustrating but entirely educational moments.  The nadir was when I sent the sear spring airborne  into a pile of cardboard stacked for later recycling.

 

But I persevered, relocated the errant (not the word I was using at the time let me tell you!) spring and got it done.  Rifle was a taxk driver before and with the much lighter trigger it is even more fun to shoot now!
