I didn't like them when they first came out but, they have grown on me. I was thinking about trading my 2018 Sierra in on a 2019 Sierra. I'll see what they will give me for a trade in.

I was looking at them before i got my F-150. The trailboss is certainly the best looking style of them all but with oversized tires and suspension, also had the worst gas mileage.    That color - North Sky Blue was my first choice and the trim style I was going for was the "RST" but they were really hard to find at beginning of the year.

I ended up putting deposit on an RST in Steel color, with the 8cyl, and Holly is texting me "i am not riding in your truck - it failed the insurance institutes safety test for passenge side impact".      And Ford and Dodge passed.

Toyota was ranked worst in that safety test.

Hence I ended up with the Ford but am very happy so far.  Aluminum body was appealing for the "rust" factor.

Pictured was my original first choice RST in Northsky blue, but could not locate one nearby and then pictured is the 2019  RST in Steel, that I ended up dumping after signing the contract and putting $1,000 down.

Last - the Magma Red F-150 I ended up with and got deal of my lifetime but only because it was a brand new 2018 leftover.

When I was looking at the Trail Bosses - felt they had considerable lift? How much more is needed?

They are compensating for something.

Nomad, i was trying to figure out what looked odd or off on it! You nailed it lifted a little it would look awesome

The Trailboss actually has a leveling lift in the front.  If not it would sit even lower in the front like most 1500's.

It basically has a leveling kit on the front.  So, it is not nose down like regular 1500's.  More lift lets you put on bigger tires and give you more ground clearance.  I go over some pretty rough stuff every year up in Maine, so I like it.  Not needed for most of the year though.
