Good thing I didn't see this warning. With rain and wind incoming I would have my family in a bunker

It was very violent here in Phillipsburg. The low clouds made for some incredible lighting and the thunder shook the building. Then there was the rain....A real gully washer.

Caught this after driving back from Jakesbeard's place in SE Virginia on the last leg from Allentown to home in Asbury.

The lightning was pretty spectacular, I saw one thick vertical bolt that looked like a beam from a spacecraft intent on destroying the planet - it was that intense!

I came off 78 at Hellertown and took back roads to Riegelsville and drove back along the Musconetcong Valley instead of dealing with the crap that I knew would have been ahead of my on 78.

Dropped 2" into the rain gauge at home too.
