Looks awesome!!

Can you share the recipe on that pie?

The recipe is so easy even lunatic couldn't screw it up!

2lbs Cubed venison

Seasoned flour

oil or bacon grease for browning

Your favorite Ale or Bud it won't matter

A couple jars of your favorite gravy

Tube of Pillsbury crescent rolls

Pour the gravy into a crockpot and set on low. Dredge the venison cubes in seasoned flour then brown on all sides with a high heat in a oiled pan. You are not cooking the meat now just browning it on the outside. The crockpot will cook it. After the meat is browned place it in the crock pot. The pan will have some good stuff stuck to the bottom of it. Lower the heat. This is where you add the ale and scrape all of that flavor up with your spatula. Once you are satisfied add that mixture to the crock pot. Put the lid on and cook it low and slow for several hours.

If your gravy is too thin remove some of it and place in a sauce pan.  Add a little at a time of corn starch or flour to the gravy to thicken.

You can do the crescent topping however you want. If you want to add the venison and gravy to a oven safe dish as pictured above, or a cake pan there is no right or wrong. Small aluminum individual pie dishes similar to the ones that pot pies come in would be great. Just fill it up with the meat and gravy then top it with the crescent roll dough and bake.

Also if you wanted onions add them, if you like peas add them, if you like potatoes add them. Like I said before, even lunatic couldn't screw this one up!

ENJOY!
