Sweet catch. You always seem do better than the others out there.

Just want you to know that my Mother put me up for adoption again.

I'm house broken and I can bait my own hook. :D

I call B.S. On that!!

Nice Dan and Tracey!    She got mad skills.     Too bad you didn't get to hit 60MPH in that fog.

Makes me wonder if these fluke regs are working, given the season so far and countless reports of so many shorts.   I think the answer is a resounding "NO"

Nothing spooks deer more than my stank…

The way the regs where set up was failure from the time it went over 16 inches as most fluke over 16 are female.  Last year was a great season and yes this one is slow but we cant say the fishery is in the toilet with one bad season as there are many factors..  as dan pointed out in another thread there is a lack of small bait,  now could this be from the lack of off shore storms this year..  again not saying the regs are good but there are other factors

she def is getting good at correctly fighting big fish.

She knew as soon as the bottom moved to slow it down and glide the fish in.

Fluke didn't know what happened until she hit the net.

def no driving quick yesterday, but def did get to see another great side to the new motors. can stay on plane at way lower speeds than before. 3000 RPM put me on plane at 26. kept it there for a simple easy ride home. plenty of time to be looking between the radar and visual.

.

fluke regs will def be getting a hard review.new people in NJ fishery management have a good pulse on whats going on. curious to see how its approached this coming year.

fish def aren't here. at this time plenty of bait has moved in.

we have squid, tinker macks , peanuts and sand eels all in pretty tight.

as soon as we marked bait yesterday there was fish on them. just mostly shorts.

Great fish Tracy. Congrats.

8#  would have taking the Calcutta for the Ozarks tournament

I didn't even want to look.

everyones work schedules has kept us at bay most of the tourneys.

if the Captains meeting had been Friday I would have been fishing that tourney , as didn't now I would be off until late Friday.

Thursday looked like I was going to have to work as did Scott.
