Check your stands.

Took a ride in the back with junior today to check the double ladder. One of the lower ratchet straps was chewed apart and dangling. This is why we change out the straps every 2 years sometimes earlier if damaged....Gonna replace all with new ratchet straps next week...

Minimal cost for each=No brainer.....

I have the same issue with my hang on stand. Checked it last night and found cable's are frayed and need to be replaced.

Good advice! We always double check and replace every two to three years especially on the Eastern Shore. The salt in the air is a real bitch down there.

Good advice! That is why I take everything out of the woods at the end of every season-helps prolong life of equipment.

From now on all my new ladder stands will have them new grippers on the just for insurance. And when you first put the up your secured to the tree before you put any straps up

I would also swap out that 3 wheeler for a quad. Those things are death traps

Over my dead body. Never.

Have had them since '84 and '85 no issues, workhorses.
