Salmon River

It happens every year the early Salmon that start running in August but this is really early. These fish will be fried on the bank before they make it to far. Mid September bowhunting and Salmon fishing can’t wait.

Happens every year, 5 or 6 years ago I took the boat up to fish like second week of August. Got blown out second day so I went to river to fish for bass or whatever. Ended up hooking 15 or so salmon, it was a great day. Was wearing shorts and shoes

Yes they do this every year but I wanted post it to get the guys that go pumped. 

I have gone on Labor Day and wet waded and caught them. I have also gone up early and saw nothing. Really is hit or miss but the early runners sure do pull.

I should tow the boat up. 20 to 30 pounders should be stacked like chord wood in 75

i use to hook up during labor day weekend. havent been up in about 6 years though.
