Devil Horns Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 I wish I still had mine. Started hunting in 1988. Killed my first deer 12/4/89. I have trouble remembering my anniversary but I know the date I killed my first deer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Live to Hunt, Swamprat, Rusty and 1 other 1 3 I'm your Huckleberry
rocky Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 I have a stack of old licenses saved some where. When they changed the to the new vinyl crap they lost their appeal to save. Live to Hunt 1
chenrossi Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Don't have my first license but still have my original hunter ed course certificate. Got mine in November of 2000 and started hunting right after. This fall marks my 20th year. Looking forward to the next 20. Live to Hunt 1

Went to the NJ shore the other weekend. They used to give you a swatch of cloth to pin to your suit to show you paid. Now they just give you a plastic wrist band. Just not the same. I do like some "Old School" stuff. Live to Hunt and Daktari 2

Greybeard Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 (edited) Found when i took my archery test, 1972, and envelope from rifle course that had my first license in it at one time. Pouches of licenses seem to be newer, so the.older one's must be in another box yet. Might know where. Just need to dig. Edited August 14, 2019 by Greybeard Bucksnbows and Live to Hunt 2
H0YT Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Sort of on topic, I miss the old metal bands from checking in a deer. Online is way more convenient, but they were nice to save. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Live to Hunt and kcohunter 1 1
