Rusty
I might have to lock this thread. I think you have successfully scared everyone away from the contest. BowhunterNJ and Lunatic

Number of points (1" or greater) + spread inches + two longest tine (1" or greater) inches Can be taken with a rigid ruler, just get it close. Quick and easy. Thats the key, remember my cold fingers JHbowhunter
BowhunterNJ
44 minutes ago, JHbowhunter said: I think anything growing out of the head has to start with main beam. A tine can ONLY sprout off a main beam. Therefore, a typical spike with 10" "beams" and 12" spread would score under this proposed system is 12 for spread, 0 for each tine, and 2 for "points" so it totals 14. Right, technically correct and I guess it keeps spikes "over-competing" with a main beam measurement. JHbowhunter

Tarhunt
Just curious, my 17 year old man wants to be in the adult hunting contest this year but, he's not a member on here. B B
This is so simple. Deer with most points wins. If there's a tie then the first one to kill wins. If there's still a tie then you do rock, paper, scissors. How hard is that?
