It seems to be accurate.

To hell with them. There are other places to buy everything.

That's just unbelievable.  A tradition and way of life that has existed since humans have walked the earth and we see in every aspect of nature is now considered "violent"?  WTF is going on with this world...seriously?

Yeah, but society was different back then.  There has been an erosion of societal rules and values.

Great comment! On the positive side the Bullets had some great teams in the 70s.

1977–78 Championship season

Although they had future hall of famers Elvin Hayes and Wes Unseld on the team, the Bullets finished the 1977–78 season 44–38 and were a longshot to win the NBA Finals, but San Antonio journalist Dan Cook used the famed phrase "The opera ain't over 'til the fat lady sings". This became the rallying cry for the Bullets as they finished a playoff run that led to the NBA Finals, defeating the Seattle SuperSonics in seven games to bring a professional sports championship to Washington, D.C. for the first time in 36 years.

How about STOP selling violent video games!

There is more profit in video sales then gun sales. Besides clearly the one thing all these shooters have in common is their obsession with hunting, fishing and other out of doors activities....

My basketball knowledge is thimble sized but I always appreciate a history lesson.

The next logical step is to immediately stop airing the food channel to cure the nations obesity epidemic.
