... And, How do You Use It?

Im in need of some advice for a weather app for, shockingly, hunting. I have a solid spot that most evenings the wind is in my face but I’d love to verify that before I get to the spot.

What apps do you guys like for wind/weather and is it pretty intuitive and easy to use?

I’m shooting a crossbow from the ground.

I used to be "Topher"

I have an app called antler insanity . I have a bunch of my stands or properties listed and it will show me the wind direction , speed , temp , weather , and I can plan where I want to sit .  It’s been pretty accurate for me . Just a few clicks and I know what the weather is at whatever stand I choose to check .

The wind forecast for NJ for the rest of 2019:
Everyday we will experience Variable winds out of the East, West, South and North. Winds 5-20 mph gusts to 35.

This is at least the case in my neck of the woods. Winds change and swirl constantly and contradictory to forecast.

I use hunt stand and my radar

Hunt stand gives me wind direction and is usually correct and hourly weather predictions.

My radar gives me a realtime visual of cloud cover and approaching storms. Plus sends warnings for severe weather

Weather underground. But either way thermals are what you need to be paying attention to. Just Bc a wind “should be”’out of a certain direction doesn’t mean thermals aren’t pulling your scent somewhere else
