We had some wicked hail come through . Not looking forward to checking the vehicle damage after the storm .

Just a steady mediocre rain coming straight down this evening.  Grass needs it.  River is low and I hope it stays that way.

Some decent flooding in the Linden/Rahway area.  Tool me 2 hours to make what is normally a 45 minute ride home.

That hail was crazy. The size of large marbles. Im surprised my windshield didnt crack

Nature sure is pretty. Unforgiving but pretty. That picture says it all in regards to just how vulnerable most of the country is. All our power lines are above the ground.

Crazy how hard the rain came down

I drove through that mess on my way to Hershey. Couldn’t see the car in front of me. Was awesome!

I had to run down to Lakewood to visit my Mom yesterday.  On the way home, I averaged 60 mph.  That's 80 mph when it wasn't raining followed by 40 mph when it was on the Parkway and 287 to 206.  It's not often I put my windshield wipers on high, but they were flying back and forth yesterday!

Sky dropped 3" of rain between the storms on Tuesday night through to this morning according to my rain gauge on the Hunterdon side of the river in Asbury.

I am hoping that this will not make my low awaited watermelon crop taste too watery when I harvest them next week.

The Musky is  Yoohoo right now - great for canoeing or kayaking provided you have the right balance of experience and ability though.

Watch out for the sweepers in the river between Finesville and the mouth at the Delaware.
