Online it is credit card and PayPal. How could they get our savings account number from that?

I had an account compromised last year and my bank was pretty adamant that a lot of online thefts occur at Walmarts.   Somehow someway the hackers can hack the Walmart system.   Someone stole my info, and tried multiple times using it in northern California and even crossing over into Oregon and trying there. 

Bank manager said to only use credit cards that are protected when shopping at Walmart. Didn't advise using a bank card there. Or pay cash.  Lol

Have you ever opened or applied for a Capital One credit card or line of credit?

Bank account theft is actually pretty easy to do.  Credit card theft is slightly more difficult, but nearly as easy.

Rocky. I had the same thing happen. Bank made good on the money. They had video and everything. Police did nothing. I wanted the dirtbag prosecuted. They told me basically that I wasn’t hurt and bank made good so I was wasting my time
