From time to time people mention the wild pheasant population around Giants Stadium . But has anyone seen any pheasants there lately ? I was talking to a fellow who works maintenance in the area and he sid he hasn't seen any since Super Storm Sandy . Have you seen any anywhere else ?

I grew up close by.70' an 80's were amazing. Then came  falcon hawk restoration.Dekort  park sacturary/became the fall of them!

I use to see wild birds in that area every time i was down there.    I do not recall seeing any in the last few years (maybe since sandy) but a did hear a cockbird calling last spring while striper fishing

I grew up in North Arlington in the 70's, we shot tons of pheasants, ducks and rabbits just across from the sewerage treatment plant.  When Giants Stadium went in, hunting was stopped in that area.
