Last night after work, I checked the sweet corn in the garden, and determined some of it would be ready to eat in a few days.

This morning as I went out to go to work, I noticed a corn stalk on the ground next to the garden.

HOW DO THEY KNOW !!!!

Coons do the same thing, just before it's ready, they raid it.

I've got the place rigged now !!!

5 grenade heads on trip wires, 4 on the perimeter and 1 in the corn. Also two cell cams, if it comes back, i'll know it !!

My corn got knocked down from that storm the other night. One giant 30 second swoosh of air plowed almost all of it over.

The bear was probably in the corn looking for a child.

It could be raccoons too. I had them decimate my corn crops in NC. There you could just shoot the hell out of anything destroying your crops.
