 blue tailed skink.  Eventually the tail gets really blue.  Very cool

I have dozens running around my house.  I’ve found their nests with eggs.  Cool little critters, they keep the bugs in check.

They turn red during breeding season and then go to their blue shimmering look later in the season.

They are quick little guys .  I use to see them all the time while rock climbing in the shawangunks in ny
