What To Do With A Baby Bat????........pic

I opened my garage door and this little guy was laying on the ground inside my garage. The door does not close all the way so I reckon that is the entry. There are access holes in my garage ceiling so they are living in my attic space. (the wife is not happy)

So what the hell do I do with it now?

Bats are protected species. You need to put it back in the attic.

Thanks. I know they are protected and I do like having them around eating the bugs but, I do not want them in my house.

I put it on a tree outside my garage a hour and a half ago and checked on it a few times. Each time it climbed a little higher. Just checked again and it is gone. Must be in Disneyland by now. 

 

It is the same bat but the color looks way different from the box to the tree photo.
