Bassin in PA

I’ve been on vacation for the past 7 days in PA staying by my in laws. Went out fishing with my father in law on Lake Wallenpaupack this morning and finished the day off fishing Roamingwood Lake which is in The Hideout community where my in laws live. Had a ton of fun catching mostly smallmouth bass but also had largemouth, crappie, perch, rock bass, bluegill and pickerel. My favorite catch of the day though was a smallie at Roamingwood Lake. I told my son I’m going to catch him a fish and it was a decent smallie. The look on his face was awesome.

So funny, you were fishing next to my boy today. We usually fish the other side of the Hideout at Deerfield Lake when we are at the lake house. Lots of plate sized crappies and nice largemouths are there as well as some good perch......It is quieter than Roamingwood, but both lakes are awesome, especially during the week...

Great vacation and some good fish which is always a bonus!

Yeah Deerfields a fun lake as well to fish. And yeah I kept saying to my wide I really think that’s yours son. I wish I was still there when you called. I would’ve went over and fished with him for a bit. We will have to get the boys out there fishing  one of these days.

Absolutely. We will get together up there this summer! Good times and such a gorgeous spot
