I was able to get out a couple hours yesterday afternoon in the Whaler after the weather cleared. My friend Bob's last day in his 50s was a good one. His wife gave him permission to join me for another adventure on  Barnegat Bay. We first found the blue claws feeding and banged out 3 /4. Bushel in short order. Next we ran to the clam beds and raked in our limits of 150. Clams were mixed in size with little necks dominating!  To top it off we tried to locate the blowfish and caught a few to compete the day. The tide was wrong for fluke so we called it a day and headed for home. We didn't want to be greedy!  Happy 60th birthday to my friend Bob retired Navy Chief!
